If I could turn back time,
How happy I would be.
To change the journey of life somehow.
To put the 'sunshine' back in me.
Just to be together,
with that magic that we shared.
To love freely again.
To believe you really cared.
To hold on to that beauty
which filled my very soul.
How wondrous that would be.
I'd live a life's new role.
But I can't turn back the clock
for a magician I am not.
I have to face life's challenge now
and get on with my life somehow.
