Only one heart, only one life
seemingly insignificant.
Oh, how magnificent this beating heart is
The wondrous emotions every beat gives.
The surging of life's blood through
your very soul taking you on a
never ending journey.
Material things can never replace
one solitary heartbeat.
Our lives pass by so quickly.
Some are more blessed than others.
But, at the end of our days
at the end of time,
when that moment comes,
we are all the same, You and I.
All the hurts, disappointments
and anguish that we have ever
felt with our beating hearts
will pass away, and all the
time before will seem
insignificant as we take the
next step and join our loved ones
who are waiting with hands outstretched
with the Angels.
If Angels have wings.....
Well they do.....
And when we join them.
We will be Angels too.
